2018 Woodchop Champion announced Melbourne Royal Competitions
Tasmania’s Kody Steers has been crowned best axeman after winning the coveted Golden Axe trophy at the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show. The Golden Axe is awarded based on the most points received across all grand final events. Steers claimed the coveted Golden Axe after placing first, second, third or fourth in the 37 finals events.

2018 Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout winner Melbourne Royal Competitions
Rebecca Farrow won the prestigious 84th Garryowen Equestrienne Turnout riding former galloper Stage Presence (raced as Persistency), at the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show. Conducted annually by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) as part of the Horses in Action Program, 40 talented riders competed for the prestigious honour in front of a packed grandstand, at Melbourne Showgrounds Sunday 30 September.
