Victoria’s best young sheep and cattle experts are ready for the Australian championships, thanks to Melbourne Royal’s Emerging Leaders Group.

The Victorian Final of the Australian Young Farmers Challenge is being held at Farm World 2022, on 25 March and you can be there to watch and cheer on our young farmers.

The success of Melbourne Royal® for more than 170 years is due to the great people who have been involved in the organisation in the past and those who are today, like John and Ann Ellis from Hanging Rock Winery and Speckle Park Stud.

Following the cancellation of the 2021 Royal Melbourne Show, the RASV in consultation with its’ Sheep Committee, explored and considered alternative sheep competitions to maintain interest and engagement, particularly with agricultural students and junior exhibitors.

Round five of the Woolworths Organic Growth Fund is now open and Woolworths is inviting farmers to apply by 18 June 2021.
