How do I access my digital membership card?

Melbourne Royal digital membership cards can be downloaded to Apple or Android wallets.

You will receive an e-mail and/or SMS from Melbourne Royal with links to download your membership cards.

1. Click link within your email or SMS

2. You will be re-directed to a page containing links to download your membership card, guest cards and car park pass (if applicable).

3. Click each link to load the card, before clicking 'Add' to add the card to your digital wallet.

4. Repeat process for additional cards.

5. Use your cards to enter the Melbourne Royal Show.

When is the membership year?

The Melbourne Royal membership year runs annually from 1 April to 31 March.

Does Melbourne Royal Membership have a joining fee?

Melbourne Royal members are not required to pay a joining fee.

When are membership fees due?

Membership fees are payable on or after 1 April annually.

What payment methods are accepted?

Visa, MasterCard, cheque or money order, made payable to Melbourne Royal® (The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria Ltd).

When will I receive my member card?

Melbourne Royal membership cards will commence distribution from August. Please allow up to three weeks for the printing and distribution of your member card and guest cards (if applicable). Members will also receive a digital version of their membership card.

For memberships purchased from September 16, digital membership cards will be issued only. Information will be provided following payment.

How many guest cards can I purchase?

Full Melbourne Royal members have the option to purchase a maximum of two guest cards with Melbourne Royal membership.

Guest cards are $100 each and can be added to your membership when purchasing or renewing. 

How do I reserve a table in the Melbourne Royal Members' Bistro during the Show?

Melbourne Royal Members and their guests can enjoy access to the Melbourne Royal Members Bistro during the 2024 Melbourne Royal Show.

Located in the Royal Block, the Members Bistro will be open from 12pm to 9pm daily (kitchen closes at 8pm).

Lunch and dinner are available and members can also enjoy a happy hour from 3-5pm with drinks specials.

Bookings are recommended for lunch and dinner and bookings can be made here.

Can I change the name on my membership?

Melbourne Royal membership is non-transferable.

Lost, Forgotten & Faulty Cards


Lost cards
The loss or theft of membership cards must be reported to Melbourne Royal as soon as possible to prevent unauthorised use.

A fee of $5 is required for the replacement of a membership or guest card, unless the card was stolen and a copy of a police report is included with the replacement card form.

Forgotten cards
All Melbourne Royal members will be issued with an electronic version of their membership card, along with a physical version. Should you forget your physical membership card when attending events, please refer to the electronic version.

Faulty cards
Should you experience any problems with your membership or guest cards, please call Melbourne Royal® Member Services on (03) 9281 7444.

How do I update my contact details?

Contact information can be changed online by logging into My Melbourne Royal at mymelbourneroyal.com.au. Alternatively, you can contact Melbourne Royal® on (03) 9281 7444 or email membership@melbourneroyal.com.au

When is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held?

The Annual General Meeting of members of Melbourne Royal® will be conducted in August each year.

Do members receive discounts for other Melbourne Royal® events?

Melbourne Royal members have access to discounted tickets or special offers to selected events during the year.

Members will receive an email with information about these offers as they become available.
