Entries for the 2025 Melbourne Royal Beef Carcase Competition open on Wednesday, 28 May.
Exhibitors will receive their ear tags prior to Show, with estimated postage time of July/August. This is to ensure there is enough time for exhibitors to receive and apply them to the exhibits before transport.
Exhibitors will not be permitted to stay for the bump out of exhibits, as they are scheduled to leave earlier that evening.
The afternoon of Wednesday, 24 September 2025.
Friday, 26 September to Saturday, 27 September 2025.
- All exhibits must be tested for Pestivirus (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus) and certified as non-PI (Persistently Infected). A signed veterinary certificate or laboratory report listing the animals and their identification must be provided upon entry.

A National Cattle Health Declaration must be completed truthfully and signed, as it is a legal document.

Any other relevant veterinary certificates must be communicated to Melbourne Royal staff in advance.

A National Vendor Declaration must be provided on the day of arrival at the Show.
