Vale John Patterson OAM

The Melbourne Royal Board, management and staff were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of John Patterson OAM on 10 October.

John was a long-time exhibitor of horses at the Melbourne Royal Show. For over fifty years John had exhibited in Harness, Clydesdales and Delivery vehicles. John was a successful exhibitor at Melbourne Royal Show winning numerous ribbons and always willing and generous with sharing his immeasurable knowledge of horsemanship. John greatly contributed to the success of the Melbourne Royal Show on the Main Arena and received a Melbourne Royal Honorary Life Membership in 2021.
