“The Australian Distilled Spirits Awards proudly recognise and celebrate the long tradition of distilling in Australia and the emergence of the new generation of spirits, liqueurs and bitters.”
“The growing prestige and reputation of the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards is a testament to the value distillers place in being able to benchmark spirits, liqueurs and bitters against their peers. The valuable feedback distillers receive from independent industry experts inspires innovation and drives quality improvement.”
“Medal winners in the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards receive valuable recognition with the opportunity to use the highly valued seal of excellence ADSA medal in their marketing and promotion” Mr Jenkins concluded.

“This is my first year as Head Judge of the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards after spending three years as a panel chair and I couldn’t be prouder of the results.”
“It is incredible to see the high-quality products that the judges awarded a record 51 gold, 204 silver and 204 bronze medals, in what was a terrific collection of Australian spirits, liqueurs and bitters”, stated Mr Costello.
“The Australian spirits industry has a bright future and I was honoured to lead the team of distillers, bartenders and industry experts that tasted and considered each product to provide feedback that will assist the industry’s exceptional growth”, said Mr. Costello.
With more Australian distilleries entering the production phase with their whisky’s, the whiskey category experienced a 50% increase in entries with NSW Archie Rose Distilling Co awarded the trophy for their Rye Malt Whisky.
