On September 12, 2023, Melbourne Royal proudly announced the results of the highly anticipated 2023 Australian Food Awards for the Dairy category. After a hiatus of three years, the Melbourne Royal Dairy Awards received 207 entries. The Awards were judged by nine highly respected industry experts on the following attributes of flavour and aroma, body and texture, presentation, condition and melting.

Among the standout winners, Inglenook Dairy, based in Dunnstown, Victoria, not only clinched the Trophy for Best Cream but also secured an impressive array of accolades, including four Gold medals, two Silver medals, and a Bronze.

We had the pleasure of catching up with Troy and Rachael Peterken, the dynamic duo behind Inglenook Dairy, to delve into their family business and the significance of this remarkable achievement.
