Australia Day Honours recognise Reg Cleland and Vivian Beaumont

Congratulations to Victorian Agricultural Shows Chairperson, Vivian Beaumont who was recently awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia as a part of the 2026 Australia Day Honours for his service to the community through a range of roles.

Vivian has a long association with Melbourne Royal through his work with the Victorian Agricultural Society, where he currently serves as Chair. He also holds the position of President of the Seymour Agricultural & Pastoral Society. Through his dedicated involvement with these organisations and his significant contributions to the broader community, Vivian has been rightfully recognised for his service.

Congratulations to Reg Cleland who was recently awarded the Medal of Order of Australia as part of the 2026 Australia Day Honours for his service to equestrian sport.

Reg has been a long-time supporter of Melbourne Royal, being involved as a horse steward for many years. Reg is a highly respected member of the Melbourne Royal Horses In Action community and was also recognised for his dedication to Melbourne Royal, being awarded an Honorary Life Membership in 2003.
